Detailed Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
1. Scientist-D
- Educational Qualification: First Class Master's Degree in Natural Science/Environmental Science OR First Class Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology (Environmental, Chemical, Civil, Energy & Environment, Biotechnology).
- Publications: Cumulative Impact Factor of published papers in UGC CARE / Scopus indexed journals must be at least 10 OR Minimum 5 books/edited book chapters with ISBN OR Minimum 5 CPCB/SPCB Technical Reports.
- Experience: 7 years of relevant practical experience in prevention, control, and abatement of river/industrial pollution, sewage management, and data analytics.
2. Scientist-C
- Educational Qualification: First Class Master's in Environmental/Natural Science OR First Class Bachelor's in Engineering/Technology in specified streams.
- Publications: Cumulative Impact Factor at least 7 in UGC CARE/Scopus journals OR Minimum 3 books/chapters with ISBN OR Minimum 3 CPCB/SPCB Technical Reports.
- Experience: 5 years of relevant practical field experience in environmental pollution abatement and management.
3. Scientist-B
- Educational Qualification: First Class Master's in Environmental/Natural Science OR First Class Bachelor's in Engineering/Technology.
- Mandatory Examination: Valid GATE Score with 90% percentile or above OR NET-JRF qualified.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in river pollution control, industrial waste management, teaching, or research.
4. Assistant Manager (Finance)
- Educational Qualification: First Class Master's Degree in Commerce (Finance & Accounting/Taxation) OR Chartered Accountant (CA) OR MBA (Finance & Accounting).
- Experience: 8 years post-qualification experience in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Excel). Minimum 2 years tax experience including TDS, GST, PF, ESI, STPI online filing, and payroll management.
5. Administrative Assistant
- Educational Qualification: First Class Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university with working computer knowledge (Post Graduation preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience of administration work in Govt./PSU/Autonomous bodies (GP ₹4200 or equivalent). Must pass CPCB skill test in noting and drafting.
6. Scientific Assistant (SA)
- Educational Qualification: First Class Master's in Environmental/Natural Science OR First Class Bachelor's in Engineering/Technology.
- Mandatory Examination: Valid GATE Score with 90% percentile or above OR NET-JRF qualified.
7. Taxonomist
- Educational Qualification: First Class M.Sc. (Desirable: Master's in Botany or Zoology with min 75% marks).
- Mandatory Examination: Valid GATE score with 90% percentile or above OR NET-JRF qualified.
- Publications: Cumulative Impact Factor at least 7 in UGC CARE/Scopus journals OR 1 book/chapter with ISBN OR 1 CPCB/SPCB Technical Report.
8. Data Entry Operator (DEO)
- Educational Qualification: First Class Bachelor's Degree in Science or BCA.
- Skill Test: Must pass skill test in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and typing speed of 45 wpm in English / 35 wpm in Hindi on computer.
9. Field Assistant
- Educational Qualification: 10+2 in Science stream with minimum 55% marks.
- Practical Knowledge: Knowledge of water/wastewater sampling and sample preservation techniques.
Selection & Recruitment Process
- Initial Screening: CPCB Screening Committee will evaluate online applications against qualification, publication metrics, and experience criteria. In case of large application volume, written tests or higher shortlisting benchmarks will be applied.
- Skill Test: Mandatory skill tests will be conducted for Administrative Assistant (noting & drafting) and Data Entry Operator (MS Office & typing test).
- Document Verification & Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for document verification and personal interview in Delhi. Candidates must present original degrees, mark sheets, experience certificates, ID proof, and NOC (if currently working in Govt/PSUs).
- Medical Verification: Final selection is subject to submitting a Medical Fitness Certificate from an authorized Government Medical Officer.
